Very basic hotel near SM mall

This hotel is good if you only stay 1 night in Manila. It is well located, near the SM mall and different shops, 7/11 and restaurants. It is easy to walk to the City Hall, parks and Intramuros (old town).

Quite pricey for what you get. We expected a 4 star hotel which from the pictures it looks much nicer. It is instead a hotel inside a Boy Scout building, the building is still partly not furnished, the rooms are very basic, no hot water in our room. Lock on the door was broken. I did not feel too safe, even though there was security guards at the entrance of the building.

Size of the room.

Size of the room. One of three clerks was friendly and attentive.

Elevator is slow and 7 years out of city of Manila safety inspection requirements. Finding it was nearly impossible, wrong address, phone number and no email response. Bed was very basic, 10mm foam mattress on wood. Very difficult extended stay procedure.

Impossible to find, impossible to contact.

The price and one of the staff was friendly, but the other I dealt with was not. It is fairly large.

Building not marked. Location on booking.com map inaccurate and extremely hard to find (paid a taxi at least 300 extra pesos trying to find it) booking.com says credit cards accepted, only cash. Lengthy form to fill out on checkin. Clerk unfriendly and unhelpful. Wrong phone numbers provided, no response to provided concrete email. Poor/no WiFi

I am quite satisfied with my stay and it could have been completed only if I didn need to go out for

The location was good. I was able to avail of cheaper accommodation. The room was very clean and spacious. The door cannot easily be opened from the outside.

The tv is very tiny which is not proportionate to the size of the room. There was no refrigerator and microwave. There was no provision for hot water which is very important in the morning especially for the coffee drinkers.

We booked for a double bed, but was given a 2 single bed...

We booked for a double bed, but was given a 2 single bed room, if we haven't taken that room we were advised to call red doorz to ask to rebook to a diff location.. there's no intercom so you have to go down the 6th flr from the 9th flr if you have requests/concerns and the elevator is slow..

Big room, close to the commercial center

Although it stated on booking.com that you could pay on card at the hotel when we arrived we were told that we could only pay cash. We didn't receive a receipt for the booking and when we questioned the reception staff when we left we were told that we would receive a receipt and I am still waiting for the receipt to come through. One night the fire alarm went off at 12:30am which woke us up. We went down to reception to see what was happening and waited patiently for about just under an hour with other hotel guests whilst everyone was speaking in Philippino. I asked the receptionists what was going on and they both looked at me and looked away without giving me an answer. The customer service was shocking at no point was there an apology for the inconvenience and when I asked for a second time they simply said 'false alarm'. Everyday we were there we had to kill cockroaches as they were crawling around the walls

There was only one toiletries bag for two persons as per staff. I stay for two nights and there was no shampoo and soap

Closes to Hospital and church in Quiapo rides accessible everywhere

Cleanliness and let Me check the charges if the promotion was applied to my credit card as there was no receipt yet

Love the big space and its price and the essentials. Toiletries, etc.

This hotel is really good for its price. I was surprised how huge it was. Clean and comfortable. The only short comings of this hotel is, there is no sign outside and that makes difficult to find. Redoorz ( near sm manila). There was no smooth transmition of your details from Third party book site. You have to wait about half an hour to get your room. But the receptionist is good in dealing things. It would have been perfect budget stay had it not been those little hiccups.
